This case study examines three different urban developments located in the downtown Nashville core.
Specifically, it looks at the developments of Rolling Mill Hill and The Gulch and applies the lessons learned towards potential development around the new Sulphur Dell ballpark in the Capitol District.
Although there can be no “one size fits all” development plan for a city, this case study concludes that redevelopment in urban centers need to consider physical, cultural, and racial differences to connect neighborhoods and create a livable space in the core of a city.
